New Client Win: The Clive Arms, Ludlow

We are very excited to announce that we have been appointed by The Clive Arms to handle press and PR for their hotel and restaurant reopening.

The Clive Arms, just west of Ludlow, has been closed for the renovation since January. The relaunch will take the Georgian coaching inn, part of the Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate, into a new era as a genuine ‘farm to fork’ dining destination

Menus will strongly feature food from the estate’s own farms and Walled Garden, as well as capitalising on the inn’s relationship and location next to its sister business, Ludlow Farmshop, which houses an array of artisan producers including the bakery, dairy, butchers and jam and pickle makers.

Not only does the beef, lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork come directly from the estate, but also the milk is used for cheeses, butter and ice cream. Single estate honey comes from the collection of over 100 hives on the land surrounding the inn. Fruits from various orchards go into the jams and depending on the season, there is bountiful supply of wild game including a herd of wild fallow deer.

The reopening will see a new open plan restaurant and bar, as well as an additional three hotel rooms, and an impressive new garden and courtyard which will provide year-round eating and socialising.

More details coming soon, including the first photography later next month.
